Seychelles was represented at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London by six athletes. They competed in four different sports; Athletics, Boxing, Judo and Swimming. A total of 8 officials were following the delegation. This was the Seychelles eighth time at the Olympic Games and two of the six athletes (Allisop and Dugasse) qualified for the games. The flag bearer was judoka Dominic Dugasse.
Athletics
Lissa Labiche: In the High Jump, Lissa jumped a total height of 1,85m.
Jean Yves Esparon: He ran a time of 21.99 in the 200m race. According to his coach Giovanny Fanny, he was the only Seychellois athlete in 2012 who has run the 200m under 22 seconds.
Boxing
Andrique Allisop: Allisop took part in the 60kg round in Boxing. He was drawn against Indian Jai Bmagwam and lost on points.
Judo
Dominic Dugasse: Dugasse took part in the -100kg and was drawn against a very gifted judoka from Netherlands, Grol Henk was ranked 2nd in the world. Dugasse lost by Ippon after Grol got a good grip on his right shoulder.
Swimming
Aurelie Fanchette: Fanchette took part in the 200m Freestyle in Heat 1 and she clocked a time of 2.23.81, which was her personal best.
Shane Mangroo: Mangroo swam the 100m Freestyle in Heat 2 and clocked a time of 56.46.
