Cadeau misses semifinal in Canada 1994
Nine Seychellois athletes participated in the 15th edition of Commonwealth Games in Victoria, Canada in 1994 (18-28 August); Only Rival Cadeau (now Payet) won a bronze medal.
He missed out on a possible silver or gold medal after failing to be on time for his semifinal bout against Irishman Jim Webb who went on to capture the gold medal.

Danny Beauchamp registered a distance of 5.22 metres in the second group for last place out of 30 competitors.

William Gamatis clocked 15.30 seconds in the first semi-final for seventh place.
Mirenda Francourt clocked 14.92 seconds in the second semifinal.
100m Dash
Mirenda Francourt clocked 12.34 seconds in the fourth heat to finish last in seven runners.
Weightlifting
Jean-Claude Ethève (71kg) came out 12th out of 14 participants with a total of 230kg-100kg in the snatch and 130kg in the clean and jerk.
Frank Accouche came out sixth out of seven participants with a total lift of 245kg-105kg in the snatch and 140kg in the clean and jerk.
